Pirámide Seguros is a Venezuelan insurance company, with a history of more than 48 years that ensures the well-being of its insured, offering a wide range of products and services within the lines of Personal, Automobile, Property and Surety.
The Challenge
After more than 12 years with its applications deployed on Oracle Application Server (OAS) 10g and with the need to put aside the dependence on the use of the Internet Explorer browser to be able to run its applications, the company decides to invest and evolve technologically and migrate your applications to the latest version of Oracle Fusion Middleware 12c (12.2.1.19).
With this technological growth and taking advantage of the new servers, the company installs the Oracle Linux operating system and upgrades its database to 19c to guarantee the compatibility of all the Oracle tools that will be installed on its servers.
